PT Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna is Ready to Face the Challenges of 2024.

PT Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna (BAg) as a subsidiary of Sub-Holding PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia had the opportunity to attend the PT PLN EPI Corporate Exposure Press Briefing event held in Jakarta, February 20, 2024.

Present at the event were Mamit Setiawan, Corporate Secretary of PT PLN EPI, and BAg, represented by Corporate Secretary Aditya Yudanto. On that occasion, Corporate Secretary BAg delivered a presentation regarding 2023 achievements and plans for 2024.

In his presentation, Aditya stated that BAg, as a company engaged in the field of sea transportation to support the supply of primary energy to PLN and IPP power plants throughout Indonesia, has achieved and grown in financial and operational aspects that provide added value to the PLN EPI sub-holding.

BAg has held a General Meeting of Shareholders for the Company's Work Budget Plan, which includes milestones and strategic programs that the Company will implement in 2024.

As part of the company's revenue growth milestone, BAg will optimize existing businesses and increase revenue outside the PLN Group. The next milestone relates to coal transportation, where BAg will increase fleet capacity and synergize with partners, increase cargo volume, and improve punctuality to optimize vessel operations.
Operational optimization milestones are also a focus, with programs including optimizing utilization rates by minimizing vessel idle time, optimizing docking management, optimizing the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) for integrated vessel maintenance management, and digitizing business processes.

BAg's next milestone will be developing new businesses beyond coal transportation and beyond kWh. One of BAg's priorities is supporting the energy transition program by reducing carbon emissions, including through the implementation of onshore charging and conducting marine electrification development studies.

Separately, Tri Susanto as President Director of PT Pelayaran Bahtera Adhiguna also appreciated the holding of the Corporate Exposure Press Briefing and hoped that this program would become a medium for sharing information about what the company has and will implement to the public.

"BAg will continue to grow with the support of stakeholders, including the media. This will provide positive exposure for the company," concluded Tri Susanto.
